About SCITS Online
A Century of Heritage, Reimagined Online
From our founding in 1921 to today's fully online Grades 9-12 program, this is the story behind SCITS Online.
Our Heritage
From 1921 to Today
SCITS Online traces its roots to 1921, when the school first opened its doors as an independent Ontario institution under the name Royal SCITS Academy. Over the decades that followed, it built a reputation for academic rigour, educating generation after generation of Grades 9 to 12 students under that same commitment to standards.
In time, the school made a deliberate choice: to leave a single campus behind and rebuild itself as a fully online program. The rigour once confined to one building's walls is now available to any Ontario student with a laptop and a connection — genuine Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) credits, taught by Ontario Certified Teachers, delivered entirely online.
