This website (scitsonline.com) is operated by SCITS Online, an Ontario private school. This is a static marketing website: it does not have user accounts or logins, does not process payments on-site, and does not maintain a visitor database. The only personal information this site collects is what you choose to submit through the contact form or send us by email.
Information We Collect
When you use the contact form on this site, we collect the information you enter into it: your name, email address, an optional phone number, the topic you select ("I'm interested in"), and the message you write. The contact form is the only way to reach us through this website.
We do not otherwise collect personal information through this website. We do not require an account, we do not ask for payment details, and we do not run any server-side systems that store visitor data beyond the email generated by a contact-form submission.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information you submit only to respond to your enquiry — for example, to answer a question about admissions or courses, or to follow up on a partnership request. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising or marketing to third parties.
Who Processes Your Information
Because this is a static website with no server of its own, the contact form is handled by a third-party form-processing service, Web3Forms, which receives your submission and forwards it to us by email. Web3Forms acts as a relay: it transmits your message to SCITS Online and does not otherwise appear on this website. Your submission may pass through Web3Forms' own servers, which may be located outside Canada, before it reaches us. We encourage you to review Web3Forms' own privacy policy for details on how it handles data in transit.
Once received, your message is read and handled by SCITS Online staff.
Data Retention & Deletion Requests
We retain contact-form and email submissions only for as long as reasonably needed to respond to you and for our own basic recordkeeping. If you would like us to delete information you previously sent us, reach out through our contact form and we will take reasonable steps to do so.
Cookies & Tracking
This website does not use cookies for analytics, advertising, or tracking, and no such scripts are installed on this site as of the date at the top of this page. If that changes in the future, we will update this policy accordingly.
Children's Privacy
SCITS Online serves students in Grades 9-12, who are typically minors. Enquiries submitted through this site's contact form are usually initiated by a parent or guardian on a prospective student's behalf, and we encourage that. This site does not knowingly collect personal information from young children outside of what is voluntarily submitted through the contact form. If a parent or guardian believes their child has submitted personal information to us and would like it removed, please reach out through our contact form and we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
